Real estate web design in Hamilton that wins the next listing
Agents, teams and boutique brokerages — your listings pulled straight from your board feed, advertising that passes a RECO check, and lead capture that works from a phone at an open house. Flat-quoted from $1,499.
Your listings on your site — board feed or curated by hand
TRESA-compliant advertising, checked before launch
Three to six weeks, start to launch

$1,499
Where a solo-agent site starts. Flat, quoted before work begins.
Serving Hamilton, Burlington, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown & Grimsby
Overview
This page is for Hamilton-area agents and teams who need a site that generates listings and leads rather than reprinting a brokerage bio. Most projects land between $1,499 and $4,999, quoted flat before work begins, with a typical timeline of three to six weeks. If your project is bigger than that, we will say so on the first call rather than after a deposit.
Sellers Google you before they call you back
A homeowner deciding between three agents does the same thing every time: searches your name, skims whatever comes up, and forms a judgment in under a minute. If what comes up is a brokerage directory page from 2019, that judgment is made for you.
So the site is built around that minute: recent sales in their neighbourhood, your listings looking sharp on a phone, a clear way to ask what their home is worth, and proof you actually work their street — not a stock skyline of Toronto.
Everything else — the bio, the awards, the team — earns its place underneath that, for the seller comparing you with the agent whose sign is two lawns over.
Who it fits
Solo agents, teams and boutique brokerages — Cornerstone registrants working Hamilton, Burlington, Stoney Creek and the towns around them — whose current web presence is a template page the brokerage controls.
Who it does not
National franchises, listing portals, or anyone needing a full custom IDX search platform — see web design by industry for the other sectors we build for. Those are a different project and a different budget.
What you own
Your domain, your hosting, your content, your lead list — and a WordPress site built to stay yours if you ever switch brokerages.
Process
How an agent website project actually runs
An agent website project runs in five stages over three to six weeks: a call and farm-area map, a content and listing audit, design sign-off on a real layout, the build with listings and lead capture wired in, then launch and handover. You are showing houses evenings and weekends, so we schedule around your calendar, not ours.
01
Call & farm-area map
Where you actually work, the sellers you want more of, and who wins the listings you lose. We leave with a page map and a flat quote.
02
Content & listing audit
We map where your listings live — board feed, CRM, spreadsheets — and how leads should route into whatever you already use to follow up.
03
Design
Home page and one listing template first, so you approve a real layout rather than a mood board. Two rounds of revisions included.
04
Build, listings & lead capture
WordPress build, listing feed connected and tested, valuation and contact forms wired to your inbox or CRM, compliance pass, speed tune.
05
Launch & handover
We migrate, test every lead path end to end, connect analytics and Google Business Profile, then train you to post a new listing yourself.
Why choose Back9
What an agent site needs that a generic template misses
Like our law firm web design and clinic website design work, real estate carries board display rules and advertising regulation under TRESA, enforced by RECO. Six things separate an agent site that holds up from one that quietly costs listings: how listings are fed in, how ads are worded, who owns the site, and how fast it loads.
Listings without the bloat
CREA DDF® feed or hand-curated featured listings — displayed fast, within your board's display rules, without the fifty-plugin IDX widget that slows everything to a crawl. Your broker of record controls what the feed may share — we confirm that before quoting, not after.
TRESA & RECO rules, respected
Registered name as registered, brokerage identified, no claims you cannot substantiate. RECO can order an ad corrected or pulled, and discipline fines reach $50,000 for a registrant. We build to Ontario's advertising rules rather than handing you a compliance problem at launch.
Neighbourhood pages in buyer language
People search "detached under $800k Stoney Creek", not "residential inventory". A page per farm area — Westdale, Ancaster, the Mountain — written the way buyers actually search.
Lead capture that respects CASL
Home-valuation and buyer-guide forms with proper consent language, routed into your CRM — so the follow-up sequence you send next week is legal, not just automatic.
Your brand, not the brokerage template
The brokerage page belongs to the brokerage. This site, its domain, its content and every lead it captures belong to you — and move with you if you ever change signs.
Fast on a phone at an open house
Listing photos are heavy and buyers browse on mobile data in the driveway. Compression, lazy loading and a speed budget — so the gallery loads before they lose interest.

Photography
You and your streets, not a stock skyline
A seller is deciding whether you look like the agent who knows their block. A stock photo of the Toronto skyline tells them nothing; a real photo of you on a Hamilton porch tells them everything. Photography is the cheapest credibility on the page, so we plan the shot list first and check every licence.
A current headshot that matches the person who shows up to the listing appointment.
Your actual farm areas — the escarpment, the streets, the sold signs — shot once, used everywhere.
Past listings used with your photographer's licence checked, so nothing gets pulled later.
A shot list before the shoot, compression after, so galleries never slow the site on mobile data.
Work to date
What we can show you, and what we won't
Property and regulated advertising are both things we build for. Every project below started with the same questions: which listings and services earn the work, how a cautious first-time client actually makes contact, and how to say it all within the rules. Below is real, live work — no invented portfolio, no borrowed numbers.

Premium law firm website
Not real estate — the same discipline. A regulated profession where every claim must be substantiable and the regulator can order copy removed. That is the exact work behind a TRESA-safe agent site.

FAQ
Questions agents ask us first
Six questions come up on nearly every first call: whether the site can show board listings, why a brokerage page is not enough, what TRESA requires of your advertising, what ranking can honestly be promised, who writes the neighbourhood content, and what happens after launch. If yours is not here, ask on the call.
Can my site show MLS® listings?
Yes, within the rules. CREA's DDF® feed can display your listings — and in many cases board-wide listings — on your own site, with required trademarks and attribution handled correctly. We confirm what your board permits before quoting, not after.
My brokerage gives me a free page — why pay for my own?
The brokerage page markets the brokerage, ranks under their domain, and disappears if you move. Your own site builds equity in your name, captures leads that belong to you, and follows you through every brokerage change of your career.
What does TRESA mean for my website?
Ontario's advertising rules require your name as registered with RECO, clear identification of your brokerage, and no claims you cannot substantiate. We build these requirements into the templates so every page you publish later stays compliant by default.
Can you guarantee I rank first for "Hamilton real estate agent"?
No, and no one honest can — that result is controlled by Google and heavily weighted to reviews and proximity. What we control is the technical foundation, the neighbourhood pages, your Google Business Profile and the local signals. Anyone promising a position is selling something they cannot deliver.
Who writes the neighbourhood content?
We draft it and you correct it. You know which streets back onto the rail line and which school catchment moves buyers; we know how to structure that into pages that rank. Nothing goes live without your sign-off, and the Team tier includes copywriting for every neighbourhood page.
Am I locked into a contract after launch?
No. You own the domain, the hosting account, the site and every lead in it. Care plans are month to month and cancellable, and if you would rather maintain it yourself we hand it over and train you to do exactly that.
